How to Navigate The Daily News Blog:

Hi,

The world is changing so quickly, and knowledge is power.

Thank you for visiting the daily news. Last year, when I began my blogging career, I wanted have one spot to easily find out what the news really was, even the news that doesn't get get much coverage. So, I compiled a lot of info into one spot. Here is how it is laid out:

* The blog portion below is news of our family, friends or town that end up in the media.

* The side bar feature links to public officials, television news, newspapers, baseball, pundits, Hulu, etc.

* The bottom of the page features links to news networks and websites ... from mainstream to the other sources.

If you have a website that you would like to see on here, please email me at: oregongiftsofcomfortandjoy@hotmail.com

Thanks,

Kathy

Excerpt from the article, regarding our grandson Tyler:

  • I hear good things about sophomore Tyler Matthews. How’s the future looking at the quarterback position there.

“He’s got a chance to be pretty special down the road. The big thing there is we have two other sophomores that are going to push for the position at some point in time. That’s the part that puts us in a really good position. We’ve got Logan Watkins’ little brother James that led the freshman team to an undefeated record last year. And Todd Freeman, he was the backup last year for the freshman. He’s really come on and really had a strong spark this summer. With Matthews and Watkins and Freeman, we’ve got some good depth.”

Yeah, Tyler, way to go! Keep up the great work.
